Anish Trivedi – Chief Executive

Anish has been involved with radio for almost 30 years, beginning with a show at USC’s college station KSCR FM. He went on to host one of the first shows to air on India’s privatised airwaves in 1993, and has since been the breakfast show host on Radio Mid-day’s GO 92.5 FM in Mumbai. Anish has also produced and anchored for television channels like CNBC, CNN, PBS, CNNfn, Zee, Zee English and Channel V. He is a former Food Editor of Elle magazine, and writes regular columns for a number of newspapers, magazines and websites. He is also the author of two plays, both of which had a successful run on the Indian stage. Anish's first novel “Call Me Dan” has recently been published by Penguin. Anish was an investment banker for 15 years, partner at the Oppenheimer & Co., Inc., Director of Indian Research and Country Head for India .

Dipika Roy – Head - Programming and Content

Dipika has worked in international marketing and product acquisition with Pierre Deux in New York, where she developed new markets for the company’s products. She worked in a number of geographic locations in that function, including the US, Europe and South East Asia. She began her radio career with National Public Radio in Boston, and has since spent almost a decade in broadcasting. She has hosted her own current affairs show on US television, and Business Plus, a daily business capsule on Doordarshan in India. Dipika is a television and stage actress and can be seen often on both platforms. She also hosts regular radio shows on terrestrial and Internet radio stations. Along with her love of musicals, Dipika oversees programming and content at Banyan Tree. She is also actively involved in marketing of the company’s products and in the development of new programming.

Sunit Gala – Head - Technology

Sunit is a senior technologist and his current focus is M2Serve, a Web 2.0 platform for multimedia delivery. In his previous assignment at Oracle Corp, he helped increase BI revenue for North America, West by 248% in 12 months to $100 M. Sunit executed the go-to-market strategy at SAS to build its high-tech manufacturing practice. He was a co-founder of HiveTech. Sunit co-authored Sybase's middle-tier and database market strategy for Java and Internet. He was responsible for the design, architecture and release of UniSQL/M, the world's first commercial distributed object-relational database server and recipient of the Florida High-Tech Council’s Best Project Award for the Candide multi-media semantic search engine – still in use by the Florida Agriculture Department. Sunit holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering..

Gopala Krishnan – Head – Business Development

GK is an Internet & mobile technology entrepreneur with 20 years of professional experience. He has run start up & early stage venture funded companies as founder/co-founder/CEO in India and China. GK has raised capital from renowned global VCs five times in his career for these companies. He lived in China for 4 years as CEO of Mobile2win China, a company that he founded and which was sold in 2006 to the Walt Disney Company. He has a depth of experience in Interactive Media, Interactive Marketing, Mobile/wireless services, mobile VAS and related business / technologies.

Saumil Chheda – Head - Technology (Mobile and IVR)

Saumil Chheda has 11 years experience in Technology, of which he has spent the last 9 years in Silicon Valley. He co-founded Blisstering Solutions to address India’s mobile and digital entertainment market. He most recently managed the Professional Services group at Apptera - a leading Voice Advertising Network. Prior to that, he architected and implemented key portions of Apptera’s flagship product, including their patent pending IVR Voice Ad Player. He has also held engineering management and product management roles at Airnex Communications and NextFocus. . Saumil holds a M.S. in Software Engineering.
